Performance modifications (full exhaust system, performance air filter, cam timing, nitrous, turbo systems, etc.) made to your motorcycle can require upgrades to the engine management to get the most out of those modifications. Piggy back fuel controllers (i.e., Power Commanders, BPD, etc.) are another very popular modification.

There are many different brands of fuel controllers and engine management systems. Some systems provide the flexibility and added benefit of tuning without the aid of a dyno, saving you time and money. Some systems also have integrated traction control circuitry for those of you who require the ultimate in tuning and performance. The installation times of these components vary from bike to bike and product to product. Some can be completed in well under an hour while others can take 4 hours or more.
